NSW Health pilot

NSW Health is piloting the by-name list in a small number of Local Health Districts in NSW. People participating in this pilot can apply to become a health user of the by-name list by completing the application form below.

To participate in the pilot, a new user must meet the following requirements.

  • Be an employee working in a frontline capacity in one of the four participating Local Health Districts (LHDs).

  • Have approval from your manager to participate in the pilot.

Sign up process

There are five steps that a new user must complete before they can access the NSW by-name list. These provide a range of safeguards designed to ensure the privacy, security, and appropriate use of information held on the system and include:

  1. Validating of your application against our list of approved organisations and teams.

  2. Signing a confidentiality agreement.

  3. Securely linking your account to the system.

  4. Completing training.

  5. Assigning you to your team in the by-name list.

Analytics Access: If you are working at a place based or systems change level, you do not need access to the By Name List to securely access our data tools and analytics.
