BNL3 Training
New users can learn how to use the NSW By-Name List in a range of ways, including online, face-to-face, or through our train the trainer program. Our interactive training sessions are designed to give a brief introduction into how the By-Name List supports collaboration at the person, place, and systems level, as well as how users can use the platform.
Before you attend a training session, it is important that you complete the new user sign-up process. Otherwise you will not be able to access our training sandbox.
Online Training (1 hour)
Our online By-Name List training module is a great option for new users who cannot attend a face-to-face or train the trainer session. This approach allows new users to complete training in their own time using the included videos and training slides accompanying slides.
Users who complete their training online are required to complete a short, multiple choice quiz to demonstrate their knowledge before you are able to access the live BNL.
Train the Trainer Program
Some organisations provide By-Name List training internally using a train the trainer approach. This approach is a great way for new users to begin using the By-Name List with the support of an internal power user who can teach the included training material, along with tips and tricks for using the platform within the organisation.
If your organisation delivers training internally, please contact your nominated trainer for more details.
